Terms & conditions

  1. CANDOUR AGENCY LIMITED incorporated in England (company number 08480532) whose registered address is at Bankside, 300 Peachman Way, Broadland Business Park, Norwich, NR7 0LB (“Candour”), has partnered with Norfolk County Council (“NCC”) and the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (“LEP”) to run a competition for the “Norwich Opportunity Area”. 
  2. The competition is for children, (with support from a parent or guardian) to create and share a video on YouTube with the chance of winning one of 100 cardboard VR googles.    
  3. You can apply to enter into the competition by completing the entry form at www.vlogyourfuture.org . 
  4. The Competition is open to any children aged between 9 and 13 who live in Norwich.
  5. By entering the competition, you are confirming your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 
  6. The Competition will run from 27th June 2020 until the 31st July. Only entries received in this period will be accepted and considered. 
  7. Candour, NCC and/or the LEP will have no responsibility for entries not received for any reason.
  8. Candour will own all intellectual property rights in any photographs or videos taken on the day and they will be used by NCC, the LEP and/or Candour for promotional purposes and marketing campaigns. 
  9. NCC, the LEP and Candour reserve the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice at any time. 
  10. The winners will be chosen at random from each of the eligible entries. 
  11. We will contact the winners by emailing your parent or guardian so that they can let you know the good news and arrange to post you the VR googles.
  12. Candour and NCC’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into with any applicants. 
  13. There is no cash alternative for the prize. The prize is non-negotiable and non-transferrable. 
  14. Candour, NCC and/or the LEP shall have no liability to you for your experience on the day out and the relevant organisation hosting you will be responsible for your health and safety on the day. 
  15. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, we may, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition. 
  16. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
